Life Cycle Assessment...
"What is that?" You may ask.
Let me tell you a little something about the LCA.
LCA is used to assess impacts associated with products from "cradle to grave", that affect the environment. It can be used to evaluate resources used and see how they impact the environment by following the stages of how the generalized product is being produced overall.
Their purpose is to gather information to later evaluate the products and find a way to make
eco-friendly. Once they compare them, they select one product and make modifications based on the chart above, and the result changes according to the outcomes of the study.
STANDARDS & METHODOLOGY
LCA gas a methodology broken down in to four steps:
Goal and Scope Definition: It begins by knowing the reason why LCA is coming in to play, and knowing what products ought to be studied.
Inventory Analysis: Next, measuring the quantity of the energy and raw material inputs, and how the releases are associated with the stages.
Impact Assessment: Thirdly, how it impacts of the environment and people, associating with the raw materials inputs and how the productions affects environmental releases.
Interpretation: Lastly, evaluate ways to reduce energy, the input of materials, and impacts towards the environment during each stage of product life.
IT IS ALL TO AVOID ENVIRONMENTAL BURDENS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH PRODUCT.
